An Evening of Cheese! An Evening to Remember!
I have the pleasure of eating Chef Nicotra’s food almost every night as we enjoy late night dinners after he comes home. However, it’s not so often that I get to see the artistic presentation that goes along with it.
As someone who had the fantastic opportunity to spend a few years studying art in Italy, I do appreciate a great visual experience. And when I received these photos from the James Beard House, following his “Versatility of Cheese” dinner there on January 17th, I picked out some of the most beautiful to share here. Tom Kirkman is the talented photographer.

Lidia,
I just discovered your programs on WTTW-Chicago (11-3) Create. And, I really am enjoying learning about Italy and your favorite dishes.
But, I’ve never seen or tasted (at least, I don’t think that I have) Grana
Padona. Can you tell us what kind of cheese this is? What does it taste
like? And, where could we buy it?
Thanks.
