Ciao Lidia….I just discovered you on cable TV in Sydney Australia. I looooooove you, your family and your cooking! You cook just like me and my mama Mira - we’re from Muggia in Trieste. My family immigrated back in 1954. I could dine on sauerkraut and sausages or minestra every night and my husband (who is from New Zealand) loves the Triestine cuisine too. Just as well!
I can’t wait to buy ALL your cookbooks and I just adore how much you relish everything you and your mama cook together.

I saw an episode wher you made a delicious looking dessert, made of fresh figs lined on bottom of baking dish and some cake batter poured over it. I’ve been wanting to make this dessert ever since. I just bought some beautiful fresh figs and would love to have the recipe.
thanks,
