Red Bank, NJ
Sunday, April 15th
3:00 pm show, doors open at 2:00 pm
Critically acclaimed chef, television host, and author Lidia Bastianich comes to the Basie to share stories of her childhood in Italy, her immigration to America, how she pursued her passion for Italian food through her career, and ultimately, her newfound love of Italian-American food and all that it stands for. Hear Lidia’s own story while she cooks up one of her favorite dishes, shows you some of her favorite photos, and answers your questions.
Lidia’s latest TV series and book, Lidia’s Italy in America, celebrates Italian immigrants. From coast to coast, Lidia pays homage to the role of food in the adaptation of Italian immigrants to America; she finds that it is the memories and experiences the Italian immigrants brought with them—coupled with the products they found here in America—which grew into the Italian American cuisine we all know today.
Lidia LIVE! gives audiences a chance to hear Lidia’s own Italian-American story, including her inspirational pursuit of her passion—ultimately a tribute to the country that has made it all possible.

Lidia attends Fancy Food Show with Nonna Foods team, July 11th
Lidia will be in DC on Monday accompanying the Nonna Foods team at the 57th summer Fancy Food Show. They are excited to return with their new sauce flavors and will be demonstrating tastings of a variety of Lidia’s products.
The “Lidia’s” line complements Lidia’s passion for all things pasta, culminating in seven original varieties of homemade pasta sauce and eight different cuts of pasta.
“…jarred or canned tomato sauce has always been a part of the Italian culture,” Lidia explains. “In the past and present, families would jar their own tomatoes to capture their sweetness and flavors of summer for the gloomy winter days.”
